Following one of the main missions to strengthen the local economy and support exports in the agricultural sector, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under the Ministry of Commerce recently hosted an online seminar titled “Smart Farmer: From Online to Global Market” to provide knowledge on exportation to a new generation of farmers who would like to focus more on export business. The seminar provided information on export mechanics, related regulations and e-Commerce that could be useful for international trade. This seminar also aims to help modern farmers to generate more income during these difficult times and provide tips on how to make an e-Commerce business successful. This project aims to encourage Thai farmers to be “Smart Farmers” that can be more competitive in international markets.
